An upgrade can be valuable and still be hard for a homeowner to evaluate. If the quote lists an IAQ product without explaining what it does, the customer has to fill in the gap.
Checkout Studio was designed to carry a clearer explanation from the sales conversation into the homeowner’s quote, payment, and signature experience. We tested that idea with 40 U.S. homeowners comparing it with the current SetSale checkout experience.

Understanding comes before the decision
In the study, 75% of homeowners using Checkout Studio could explain what the IAQ upgrade does. With legacy checkout, that figure was 35%. That is about 2.1 times as many people who could describe the upgrade’s value.

The point is practical: homeowners need to understand the benefit of an option before they can decide whether it belongs in their home. Clear explanations help the work your team did during the visit survive the handoff to the quote.
A more confident homeowner
The study also asked whether people had enough information to decide on the upgrade. With Checkout Studio, 74% said they did, compared with 53% in legacy checkout—a 21 percentage point difference.

Across the comparison, 8 in 10 homeowners preferred Checkout Studio. The research page explains the findings and includes two one-page summaries you can share with your team.
What this means for your sales process
A proposal does more than communicate a total. It helps the homeowner connect the equipment and upgrade choices to the result they want. The study points toward a simple place to improve that experience: make the value understandable at the moment of decision.
